Sometimes the adventure needs a refreshing breeze and the team has to be moved somewhere very far away. Portals and magic come to help. Today's map is an ancient, chaotic portal located on top of a mountain. Chaotic because it does not always work the way players would like it to - and the only entrance to it is above a very deep chasm...

As patron of Platinum Tier you will receive a PSD in which you can change the view of the portal "on the other side". - it could be an ocean or an underground lake of lava.

Catching a job as a guard for the wandering mage seems like a good idea, right? Well, maybe if someone is used to taking shortcuts in the way of portals.

Arthur is not troublesome on purpose, he’s just… a magnet for unwanted attention.

During our travels he always asked the wrong person for the directions or went into the inn right before the fight started. I cannot blame him, it’s his twisted luck.

Once he was able to speak with some deities, but he was so scared that he ran away for a few weeks. I found him in the cave and he made friends with goblins. Goblins!

Anyway, he’s a great wizard. He’s doing his job perfectly and he gets paid very well, so if you are looking for a good amount of gold in your purse he’s a good choice.

But the portals… Yeah, opening the portal is his favourite escape maneuver.

Sometimes we were getting back in the city, sometimes in someone’s house, but in most cases it was the random spot on the map. A week ago we got stuck between the realms, but after some time we were able to go back, obviously.

But if you let Arthur focus, for example stop the enemies for a few minutes he can create the portal to the destination of his choice.

I think his next stop are some ancient ruins and his guild assigned him to activate something there. I cannot go with him this time, because my lord wants me and my people under his banner, I think the war is waiting for us.

Right, but before we leave I can tell you how to find Arthur. Tall, blond hair and he looks like he’s in his early twenties, but he’s older. Way older, trust me. He should be with a tiefling girl - glue hair, skin in the colour of the autumn leaves, she’s lovely and you’ll find her without a doubt. It’s impossible to miss her in the crowd.
