Lone travelers in the mountains. Tired of traveling, they decide to set up camp at the foot of the mountain. Wild nature and silence around them. Is there any danger around?

A small stream is splashing playfully, and cool air is filled with the smell of grass and flowers.

Looking down, there’s a path, part of the same track that you are on, and the breathtaking sight of the local forests and river system, helping all the villages and cities nearby.

Setting a camp on the side of the road can lead to many interesting encounters and other travelers can tell interesting stories. For example the group of three - cheerful elf, grumpy human and inquisitive halfling are on the rescue mission, looking for the elf’s brother. She’s more than happy to share the story about him, that he left her and the family to tame his magical powers, but she knows that he’s in danger! Some forgotten god named Kosuth is trying to gain his power and use his body to manifest himself to the mortal world. The man told something about vampire hunting, but he was more interested in drinking than talking. And the halfling… No, he was doing his halfling things. Interesting trio!

After they were gone a single person came to your camp, a huge man, probably an half-orc asked for some water and a few minutes near the fire. Just like the group before him, he decided to pay for your time with a story.

The youngest son, one of the seven children decided to leave his family and look for happiness somewhere else. He fell in love with a woman, daughter of a tax collector and decided to find her, even on the other side of the world. But he can’t ask her to marry him without a proper gift, so he decided to make a coat made of dragon scales, because dragons are described as beautiful in all the legends. I think he forgot the line where dragons are described as DEADLY, but he was too absorbed with his vision to care.

I wish him all the best, I hope he found love. And the dragon scales. If not - I hope he rests in peace.

Right now the camp is peaceful and we go to sleep. Who knows what stories we are going to tell in the upcoming days?
