Do I enable the purchase of individual posts?
Added 2025-04-22 20:08:31 +0000 UTCHi, the option to create a shop and sell individual posts was enabled a few weeks ago. I've been using the subscription model, so I haven't used those features.
Well, for the price issue, I didn't enable that option. Due to the platform and PayPal fees, I would have to set a price of about $3 or $4 for individual posts, and my base monthly subscription is $5, so I thought maybe it wasn't worth it, but I remembered the old posts. Maybe I could sell them individually.
I'm looking to make it easier for anyone who wants to buy a specific post and maybe doesn't want to subscribe, or is a current subscriber and wants a post from several months ago.
So I thought, I'd better ask you if you want me to enable that option or not, to buy posts individually. Although I think the subscription model is more profitable for you and me, we have to think about everyone.

If they're buying individual posts, that likely means the average number of posts they like per month is less than one, statistically speaking. I'm technically not a paying member (used the join for free option), so take my opinion as you will, but I know there are posts I'd specifically buy, even if you put a month or two delay on new posts before they can be bought.
