Trilogies
Added 2025-02-25 22:11:41 +0000 UTCLooks like we are completing two trilogies 2 weeks in a row starting next week! So since I love a good theme, what are some trilogies that we have yet to complete on Back Issues?
Comments
Please PLEASE do Marvel Zombies, Marvel zombies 2 and Marvel Zombies Dark days? Or whatever the evil dead crossover was, those 3 together are a complete trilogy somehow and it's so stupid I hate it. I would LOOOVE to see you guys cover it

2025-02-26 01:01:50 +0000 UTCNot a trilogy, but the Nova series where Richard Rider comes back to a post Civil War earth and has to deal with both iron man and the way the world sees the New Warriors is pretty good

2025-02-25 23:36:25 +0000 UTCSo you did Ultimates, and basically covered Ultimates 3 when you did Ultimatum, but you still haven't done Ultimates 2. Everyone knows the middle chapter is the best part of a good trilogy

2025-02-25 23:22:08 +0000 UTCThis x100. The messiah trilogy is probably my favorite story era of x-men, but it's only loosely a trilogy and without the broader context of what was going on during those eras the story doesn't hold together. Messiah Complex was like a half dozen storylines coming to a head. Messiah War loses a little punch without the context for X-Force. Second Coming is all over the place but it's so worth it for the Mike Choi pages, where the X-men have never looked better.

2025-02-25 23:14:20 +0000 UTCNot sure if it counts as a trilogy but the Dan Abnett/Andy Lanning cosmic saga, Annihilation conquest, War of the Kings and Realm of the Kings. Given there are so many books linking these stories together, there are almost 100 books all in if you’re are reading it properly, which can be a bit daunting.

2025-02-25 22:46:51 +0000 UTCThe xmen messiah trilogy. It's not really a trilogy but the rest of the annihilation saga.

2025-02-25 22:46:29 +0000 UTCHad to do some digging though back issues but here a few: Knights end is a given The newest spawn Batman to finish that trilogy of books Deceased (I think it ends after 3 books?) Batman I am Bane (kinda a trilogy for Tom king) Superman and Wonder Woman earth one Marvel earth X trilogy Deadpool kills trilogy (Deadpool killiustrated and Deadpool kills Deadpool) Star Wars infinity: return of the Jedi. Think that covers almost every trilogy book you guys have at least covered one book from that’s not finished yet.

2025-02-25 22:23:24 +0000 UTCI don't believe you've done the first three appearances of the Sinister Six. That being said, you said you wouldn't do it in the "Return of the Sinister Six" episode.
