Aztec Magical Girl Pt 1 - setting time adjustments/your thoughts?
Added 2025-07-12 06:17:05 +0000 UTCI've made minor changes to the setting so the vision serpent now says "Today is the lassst day of Etzalcualiztli" which sets chapter 1 at the the end of June. I also changed the references to Selena's graduation to be "about a month ago".
The reason for this is that I have a story beat I want to hit on the Day of the Dead, so if we start the story in September it will happen too soon. Etzalcualiztli is sacred to Quetzalcoatl, while the original month, Teotlehco signals the coming of the gods, so either works thematically.
I don't think i need to post a revised file just for this change, in the meantime I've been working on part 2.
So thoughts on part 1? Anything I should change, or anything that doesn't work? Anything I should add or better flesh out?
