Story Time
My boyfriend, Angel, and I started dating and living together before I started nude modelling. And so when I wanted to start posing nude, it was a transition for him to accept and feel comfortable with. It was a struggle for sure, and nearly broke us up, but bottom line, my boyfriend-husband-whoever- cannot tell me what to do or force their comfort zone on me.
That being said, I love Angel dearly and was not about to give up what we had for a hobby (At the time it was not my job). So we put in the effort to stay together, compromising and communicating all the time. This BTS video from my roadtrip to Bakersfield was the first trip where Angel and I were both on the same page about nude modelling. Having Angel come with me to shoots, be involved, and seeing what the community is really like made him feel much better about what I was doing and with whom. I am so glad that Angel decided to stick around and get over his insecurities because over a year later and we are still going strong!
