Yes, there are special activities on Discord, like Q+A, TV Nights, live rambles with me, etc, and you are free to join and lurk for those--there is no need to actually speak, never feel like you have to introduce yourself or talk about anything.
Discord is just a useful extension of our Patreon community. It's there if you want it, but please send me a msg if you are uncomfortable and are too shy to suggest different content.
