Patreon has made it possible to subscribe through iOS again, which is great for accessibility! That said, there are a couple of things worth knowing:
Apple applies an additional fee to all iOS-based subscriptions, which increases the tier price by about 30%. On top of that, payments made through iOS take significantly longer to reach creators, usually around 75 days. Which is insane, considering this is a monthly subscription platform lmao.
If you’re already supporting me through iOS, thank you so much, I appreciate it deeply, no matter how you subscribe. But if you’re looking to get the most out of your pledge (for both of us!), subscribing via a browser or Android device avoids the added Apple fee. My regular tier prices are $3, $5, and $10. Anything higher is just that iOS surcharge.
