Wild Life Roadmap Update | Progress Towards 2026 Release

Back in March, we shared our ambitious plans leading towards the full release of Wild Life. We promised to revisit and refine our roadmap this July, diving deeper into our internal plans and giving you more detailed insights into our progress. Today, we're delivering on that promise.

Reflecting on our Journey

As mentioned previously, Wild Life started as a small passion project. Over time, our vision evolved significantly, driven by your support and feedback. This growth has helped us overcome many challenges, teaching us critical lessons about large-scale game development.

July Roadmap Update – A Closer Look

Following our latest internal review, we've now entered the detailed planning phase for the second half of this year, setting a solid and actionable plan towards release. We're pleased to report good progress across all major areas, including workflow efficiency, combat refinement, and the development of key game locations and quests. Payment Providers & Platform Stability

We are aware of the current volatility across platforms due to major payment provider policies, especially on Steam and itch.io. We have prepared for such situations and continue to act accordingly. We still plan to release Wild Life on Steam in 2026. Should we encounter any challenges we cannot overcome despite our preparations, the community will be informed immediately, along with our proposed solutions.

On Track for Release

Development is currently on schedule, and we look forward to announcing the exact release date around May next year. We reaffirm our release window: Wild Life will launch fully on Steam between August and December 2026. This release will not be Early Access but a complete and immersive experience from day one, with our Sandbox mode following in 2027 as a free DLC.
