Patreon Member Test Build Announcement 21.04.2023

Hello everyone,

The new member testing build is almost ready! Most excitingly this time is the first implementation of a few quests in the main game world. Keep in mind that this is just the first iteration of many and the visual quality, functionality and quantity of gameplay and quest related content is still heavy work in progress. You are getting a very unique insight into a state of game development that under normal game development conditions would not be published.
We realize this goes against what we said previously, but we wanted to get the first story batch out as soon as possible. Future quest batches will be released with more polish.

Important information: Part of the graphical optimization work has been to enable a new method for shadow rendering that has improved the performance in the main game world but may negatively affect sandbox performance. Currently you can change this back using the Engine.ini file (found under C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\WildLifeC\Saved\Config\Windows) if you want to by adding the line r.Shadow.Virtual.Enable=0 to the file under the [/Script/Engine.RendererSettings] section (add that line if it does not exist in your file). Later we will directly implement a toggle for it in the game video settings.

• Sandbox editor: The characters in sex scenes and posers are now separate sandbox characters in the scene; This also resolves attached props disappearing or attaching to a different character when possessing a sex scene or poser
• Sandbox editor: Resolved crash when giving a prop collection folder a forbidden name
• Sandbox editor: Resolved Tetrahedron floating in the air when placed
• Sandbox editor: Dynamic mesh props now use procedural meshes with more options
• Sandbox editor: Improved performance of invisible characters
• Sandbox editor: Improved skin deformation for custom poses

Known Issues:

• There are some AI navigation issues on the open world
• Some quest markers do not disappear
• Due to DirectX 12’s on the fly shader compilation there will be significant lag spikes whenever new materials are loaded
• Fur is temporarily disabled due to incompatibility with Unreal Engine 5
• Setting animation speed and amplitude to zero causes sex toys to disappear
• Clothes textures will not fully load in the character creator
• Physics break if you scale characters in the sandbox editor
