Patreon Member Test Build Announcement 18.06.2021

Welcome to the new patreon testing build,

The demo questline is getting more and more complete! Now you can progress through all 5 sex encounters and complete the demo. We are still missing a proper end screen and are going to do plenty of polishing until the demo is finished which we expect to happen in August. We are really looking forward to your feedback about our current state :)


Changelist

Additions:

    • Added over 40 new sandbox sex animations, see the full list here

    • Added 2 new sex minigames with over 15 animations each (MaxXAlissa, MayaXKral)

    • Added 25 new animations to MayaXRawn sex minigame (Doggy, Boobjob, Throatjob)

    • Added a bunch of new dialogue

    • Added several new NPC routines

    • Fully implemented Alissa quest

    • Added 2 new hair styles with our new hair technology (Maya + Max)

    • Added 3 new outfits to many of our female characters (Lingerie, Mechanic, Straps)

    • Added new poses to character poser

    • Added new pubic hair styles for males and females

    • Added combat range to test our reworked combat (Please send us your feedback)

    • Added free cam feature to sex minigame


Improvements:

    • Various improvements to characters, animations and physics

    • Adjusted lighting in Fisher Village level

    • Various improvements to level models and materials

    • Reworked combat and combat AI

    • Changed some inputs as part of the reworked combat

    • Improved dialogue

    • Improved NPC routines

    • Started implementing sound effects

    • Reworked UI (Not fully completed, yet)

    • Improved climbing and falling (Currently only for Max and Maya)

    • Resolved cum not sticking to characters outside of sex sequence or poser

    • Resolved cum disappearing after a while

    • Resolved rare issue where sex animations could desync during sex minigame

    • Resolved animations not looping when talking to an NPC during their routine

    • Resolved crash when talking to Maya as Maya

    • Resolved characters sometimes sinking into the ground during sex sequence

    • Resolved combat AI getting stuck

    • Resolved guiding AI standing still when the player moves too far ahead


Known Issues:

  • Reflection issue with our new hair technology

  • Characters float above the ocean water while swimming

  • Setting animation speed and amplitude to zero causes sex toys to disappear

  • Cant spawn characters in the jungle blockout level

  • Holding ejaculate button opens quick item menu due to double assignment

Multiplayer is not part of the plan. The game code base wasnt build with multiplayer in mind.

I know this is probably a long shot but, is there a possibility of an online Co op feature plan for the game? It would be an interesting experience to interact with other players the same way you would in sandbox mode.

Hey, just had a thought I wanted to throw at you. Although I am only vaguely aware of just how difficult it is to code behavior patterns (I have friends in the gaming industry - I've seen the seemingly endless lines of code one needs to write just for the simple stuff), there is something I would like to suggest you look into. And that is enemy Aim Dodging. As an example; have enemies - that are charging at the player - that can recognize a firearms/bows for what they are, try to avoid the player's reticle should the they (the player) keep it on them for too long, or when they are being fired upon - as an example. Stuff like strafing and ducking while moving towards the player. I know it won't be easy, considering the programmers need to take into account so many things when trying something like this - the fact that there might be obstacles in the way that could prevent this due to collisions and stuff like that - but if your team is up for the challenge and have the time to do it, it is something I'd love to see in this game. But again, I heed you to consider what is the level of difficulty you and your team wish to have on this game. Putting in stuff like this could please some people, but frustrate others. Then again, this is something that could be turned on/off via difficulty settings. But as I mentioned before, I'm not a programmer - I do not even pretend to know how difficult it would be to create something like this. Still, it was something I wanted to get off from my chest. So there.

You guys keep doing amazing work. I love the mechanics and scenery. My favorite part, other than the sex animations, of course, is just the incredible scale of the island/map; there's so much room to roam around, explore, take screenshots of, and get lost in. I don't know if you ever plan on allowing characters to gather lumber or other objects to build a makeshift shelter or outpost, but I'd play for hours just doing that, myself.

Yes in sandbox too. You must just pair the exact characters that have minigame for them.

So, I tried the combat range and here's my opinion on the experience I had. To put it short, its solid. Not the best I've ever seen, but definitely above average of what I've seen and tried myself in games that are played in 3rd person. The parrying mechanic is perhaps a little too forgiving for my taste - or it may be that I'm just all too familiar with game mechanics requiring precise timing, so that may just be me. I'd suggest adding difficulty option that would remove the attack warning (the eye-flash) from enemies to give players like me that extra challenge we might want. I would also like to see you give some of the enemies (especially the humans) some lunging attacks (if they had any, they didn't use 'em much, if at all) - or even some ranged options, should the player try to play keep-away too much. Some of the Kerpali enemies got stuck on the trees in the forest portion of the training stage when I initiated combat with the rifle from a distance. The boss fight was nice, and I can't wait to see what it will be like once its finished with proper sounds and all. You really should add some screen-shaking effect when the big guy smashes the ground if the player is close to him, possibly even make it so the player character stumbles if they're too close. I would even go as far as make it so that you could not parry it at all; after all, this is a creature almost three times the size of Max and should be able to easily smash through his attempts to parry big, strong attacks. I'd suggest you make it so that attacks that cannot be parried would have a red warning flash instead of the regular orange/yellow flash. Adding this type of attacks to some of the regular enemies would be welcomed addition as well, but again - this just my opinion. Not everyone might like this level of challenge in a game like this. Aside from the boss-fight, the only really challenging combat experience I had was the one where I had to fight multiple Maya's at the same time, and even then just barely. With the way they all just charged at me like lemmings made it easy to avoid them. Having them spread out a bit more during the engagement and have them try encircle me would have made them far more challenging. This is where having one or two of them attack me from range would have also encouraged me to dodge more instead of just using the parry most of the time. All in all, you've got yourselves a solid combat gameplay here. Far more than what I expected you guys to implement into this game, to be honest. Keep up the good work!

I think you should correct this to eliminate the confusion.

Sorry to read that mate. So if I have understood this correctly you have an issue where the launcher wont start? Has the alternative mega link not worked for you? We also plan to move the whole launcher thing to our own website which should eliminate most software related issues in the future.

Good luck, Guys! But sadly, I'm out. I haven't been able to play in over a year. I haven't been able to load the game due to some error. And i know there's a "fix", but I'm not savvy enough to fix it. And I'm not sure why I HAVE to fix it, I'm not a game developer. And now the launcher wont install. So I'm pulling my backing. I've bought the game 5 times by now. I hope to see WildLife released some day. Not mad, just disappointed.

Never disappointed with a new build release, I’ve only played a small amount of the new changes but I love what I’ve seen so far. Keep up the amazing work y’all continue to make me proud to support this project!

About the cinema camera. Id like it to work in sandbox like it works in mini games. Especially in this update mini game camera was awesome.

Cheers, but IK during sex scenes is such a crazy can of worms that I dont think we will mess with it at any time in the foreseeable future.

I'm looking forward to trying things out! I had a curious question though while reading through the changes, have you attempted to add IK to the sex animations to prevent body parts from clipping through uneven terrain? I'm sure that if you have it presented some issues and that's why it's not in-game yet but I was just wondering.

Yeah, I did try that too, sorry, forgot to mention it. Also tried running through compatibility mode as well, no luck. Weird that it started on both systems at the same time. Makes me think something in a Windows Update...because I didn't make any changes to either system...and if I did, it wouldn't have been on both.

Tried starting the launcher in admin mode? We are also planning to move the launcher into a website so there shouldnt be that sort of software issues happening at that point.

I've been running into an issue where the launcher just...refuses to open. Started maybe a month or two ago, I think. Been meaning to ask about it, but kept getting sidetracked. The weird thing is that it happens on two different computers, and started at the same time. I click on the launcher, and it seems like it's going to open (the little spinny circle shows up by the cursor), but nothing. Nothing happens, nothing opens, no error, nada. I'm using Windows 10 on both machines currently build 19041.1052. No AV or firewall, aside from Windows Defender, but I tried turning all that off too. It was working fine one day, and then stopped working. I do see it appear in Task Manager briefly, and then it disappears. Any suggestions on what could be happening? Thanks!
