2024-10-30 12:56:39 +0000 UTCI totally understand Perry. I still like the mutant human storyline in Beneath. For Escape, yes the ending made me cry too. The only Apes movie I did not like from the original series is Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973). The film's low budget really ruined it and it shows especially in the film's climax. It was such a huge letdown after Conquest.

2024-10-29 14:18:55 +0000 UTCOh Perry, shouldn't David first watch Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) and Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971) first before Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972)? He only saw the first one. He owns the box set. So I think he should react to Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) first which is the next film right after the original Planet of the Apes (1968).
