- Emily Clark: A soul fragment of Esmeralda Vallenfelt that was sent to Earth to be grown in the unborn body of Emily Clark. Emily appears for most of the story as a brunette. In truth, she is wearing a disguise to hide her origin. Once revealed, her green hair, her eyes, and the subtle differences in her features make it clear she is an altered clone of Lady Vallenfelt. Timeless Beryl Wilderness
Sylvia’s Class:
- Natalie Ward: A tall and highly driven girl. Natalie has forest green hair and can be considered the leader of the ‘starlight thugs’. She has something of a haughty ice princess personality. Ignoring the two cheats – Emily and Sylvia – Natalie is unquestionable the most intelligent and accomplished witch of her year. Natalie was raised in a strict household by her very wealthy grandfather who was ashamed of his deadbeat son.
- Camila Powell: A thug of a girl with boyish blue hair so dark it appears black. She was literally a gang member in her mortal life and strongly subscribes to the idea: ‘chose your boss, then stick to them no matter what.’ She respects strength and likes ‘mad dog’ Sylvia when she’s being badass. She was temporarily disgusted when Sylvia came across girly, but changed her mind after Sylvia defeated Natalie Ward in the duel to the death. If asked why she bully’s her fellow students, Camila would explain: “I was just toughening them up. Call me what you like, but better it’s they get hit by me on the schoolyard than they get hit in the real world.”
- Heather Grenier: The last member of the starlight thugs, Heather has fiery red-orange hair. While she’s very much a bitchy valley girl, but proved her courage in the first Armed Combat Class. Glenda had already reached the second consolidation before Sylvia’s stay at the Academy. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and is one of Esmeralda’s retainers.

When she learned Lady Vallenfelt received a laurate for the same discovery she was furious. She eventually followed Esmeralda to the Timeless Beryl Wilderness looking for a chance for revenge. Roisin is a terrible teacher in part because she hates magissa. Though, as Sylvia notes, Basic Runes was a doomed subject from the start. Who knows, maybe one day this chef will be managing part of a restaurant franchise.
- Viscount Vilhelm Codrin: The Demon King of the Timeless Beryl Wilderness and a fourth consolation vampire, though his current strength is only at the third consolidation due to a lack of talent and resources. He still dreams of making the Timeless Beryl Wilderness into a sovereign plane and is deeply frustrated by Baron Ishii’s “stupidity” and the Tisa clan’s betrayal of his good friend Rupert Gris.
- Baron Rupert Gris: He’s remains furious and bitter how everything turned out, particularly with his missing son “Lyam Gris”. Comments
Nope, she hasn't been mentioned for a good long while. Sylvia really doesn't operate in the same circles as Heather.

2025-09-09 18:19:12 +0000 UTCYeah, I never found the chance to address it in the 82 chapters thus written so I figured I'd let the information out.

2025-09-09 18:18:33 +0000 UTCSo this is how I learn Fiia (who had like two sentences of screen time) was the culprit and Rauno (the "sugary fox") received suspicion falsely. Guess it wasn't going to come up in-story.

2025-09-09 18:06:23 +0000 UTCBtw have we heard anything about Heather recently in story? I think there was a blurb in the last few chapters about how she wasn't part of Natalie's group anymore but that's all I remember.
