Update: Golden Demon UK 2022

Since tickets were always going to be very tricky to get I wanted to be sure I had secured one before I posted an update. I am very happy to say I have managed to get a ticket, however it's sad and somewhat inevitable that many people unfortunately missed out. As a participant I think the spirit of a competition is very much that everyone who wants to enter should be able to and it somewhat diminishes it if this is not the case. If you have been working on something or you plan on entering there will be another opportunity on the 8th to get a ticket. Tickets sold out in less than a minute last time so make sure you have an account on Eventbrite and are ready at 19:00 if you still need a ticket.
Progress is going well on the Mangler Squig project although everything needs a lot of smoothing out. I have recorded lots of footage so far and I am looking forward to editing it together although it will likely be less polished than a regular video you might expect but hopefully still very useful. I will be covering the squigs and goblins this month. At the moment my energy is focussed mainly on this entry for the next month however hopefully there will be time for more entries if time allows.
Best of luck over to everyone entering the competition and working on entries over the coming months. I look forward to seeing everyone's projects at GD.

Thank you William. Yeah it's a very poor decision to hold it at WHW the capacity was always going to be the issue. There's also been very poor communication on the run up to the event, it was only briefly mentioned at the end of a warcom article and no tickets until 2 months away, which is very short notice for people preparing to enter and buy hotel/organise travel. The good news is I don't think it will be very long until the next one. Thank you for your suggestion I will bear it in mind for future content.

Planning on doing some Patreon live streams this week coming when it should cool down and also working on editing the GD video. Apologies but it is a bit out of my control at the moment, I am happy to refund your pledge.
