Status update 20.3.2023

So I just got posted my latest commissioned piece. I have another commission waiting which I'm going to do next, but after I want to take a little break from commissions and draw my own stuff for a bit, so I momentarily closed my commissions and open them again early next month. Drawing commissions is good for my wallet, but it feels a bit tiring to draw many of them in a row when I need to confirm things with the commissioner instead of doing freely what I want.
Also Patreon removed the creator goal feature, and reasoned it for not helping creators gaining more patrons. I personally didn't expect it really help to gain more patrons, but to do something special after reaching specific goal. I don't know was that email sent to all Patreon users or only for creators, so I wanted to mention it here.
I had the goal of making a short animation at 15 active patrons, and I'm planning to keep that even the tracker is removed. I made animation test last year so I got a basic idea how to do it, but I didn't share it since I wasn't sure where to upload animation test, and it was just a test. My first animation will probably be paizuri piece or something, something that doesn't require many layers and is simple to do.

Yes, I probably just limit them to max 3 or 4 monthly for now to have better control how they flow in which makes it less stressful, even I love getting commissioned. And thanks for the positivity! I'm doing well and feeling excited to get back to vote polls soon!
2023-03-20 15:29:35 +0000 UTCHope you can find a nice balance of commission vs your choice pictures, obviously it's great to get support but make sure not to get too burnt out. And so weird Patreon is removing that feature. Like sure, maybe it wasn't that helpful but it's not like it was hurting anything, haha. Anyway, hope you're doing well and I'm excited to see what future art you have in store!

Next commissions is butts again but I'd like to take little break from commissions anyway even if it was something else. 1 to 2 weeks break and I will happily take them again after drawing few pieces on my own. And yeah, if the goal was very close then it could have indeed help a creator to get a new sub.
