I didn't like how in wings of fire the mothers didn't care for their children that much I feel like, but here the main character has a positive relationship with her mom, even thought she was the leader of whitegate she took time to raise a child.

Without the added fear of who baby's dad is but yknow xD I mean more with the "will I be able to love you and care for you the way you need to be cared for". Then those last two panels.
