Here’s the page i made as a sample, to show the client what I was capable of. He liked it, and we are going to continue creating 21 more pages! What animal would you like to see me draw next? (There is a page for just about every common zoo animal you can think of!)

2023-05-05 16:42:09 +0000 UTCI do! You can draw a lot of spots without it being time consuming. As long as you arent being meticulous about it, spots can be quick and fun! My biggest tip is to make sure the body spots are loose and completely random. If you worry too much about their placement, youll never want to draw them! As for the face, keep the spots simple, and symmetrical. Maybe three spots on one cheek, and three spots on the other. Maybe 2 or 3 on the forehead, and thats all. The design of the head is much more important than the spots on the body! Keep it simple, and your character can be easy to draw, AND recognizable at the same time.

I have a cheetah oc and struggle to find a good simple way to be able to draw his spots without it being too complicated

This is just so cute 😍 A chatty cheetah (haha kinda reminds me of myself 😅) this is such a brilliant idea for a children's book and i can see loads of potential with it, especially with it in your style 😊. As for which animal I would like to see next, perhaps you can do Macaws or a snake 🐍. Or as the page suggests, you could introduce the Hippo on the next page. Once again, excellent job on this piece 🥰 I can't wait to read this when you finish the book 🙂 I truly believe it'll be a hit success!
