Ever wonder how I create pages without burning out? Here’s how it’s done!
First,I draw EVERYTHING. Borders, backgrounds, characters, expressions, and wings. Once the page is lineart, I take a fat break, and work on something else XD
Next is coloring. Enough said.
Then I go through and put down ONE layer of shading on every character. (Yep, just one!) I lightly erase parts of the shading that seem too harsh.
Lastly, Lighting! As you can see on the second slide, the lighting is pretty faint, but adds that 3-dimensional glow that makes comics come to life. Its definitely one of my favorite parts of the process😁
