Bittersweet Style test!
Added 2021-08-09 06:52:00 +0000 UTCHere’s a panel straight from the comic for you all to enjoy! I’m trying to figure out my background and lineart style, what do you all think? Do you prefer a sketchy style like this? or do you prefer clean, thick lineart instead?
Time and quality are important, so balancing them is a feat I’ll have to accomplish eventually! Hope you all are as excited as I am ♥️

This background is definitely more detailed than I will be making my comic, id probably die if I had to replicate it every time 🤣 but i think keeping the characters sketchy will save me a lot of time! The only question is, does it still look professional? Hmmmm🤔🤔 im gonna try a few different styles and maybe have you all vote :)

I guess the question to ask you would be if that style is one you could keep up throughout the comic and feel comfortable that you won't burn out too quickly. Quality and time are important but so is consistency found that not many people appreciate a webtoon that changes the style of art in the middle of it. Heh. Even when you explain that keeping the old style was burning you out. *shrug* Hope that made sense.
