Pilates with Leah
Added 2023-07-01 15:14:53 +0000 UTCI had been invited to exhibit my “The Body as Temple” art nudes at a Pilates Conference. I met Leah at that conference. She came to the show and told me how much she loved seeing art nudes of athletic muscular yogis and dancers.
She said she did not have anything against sexual nudes, but that it was refreshing to see nudes that focused on strength and form instead.
Like a lot of Pilates teachers, she had a strong background in dance. After we chatted for while she asked me if she could visit my studio and be one of the subjects for a future show.
A few weeks later we met for a session and I was delighted to work with her. She has a sweet nature and her enthusiasm is infectious. I loved the images we created. One of her photos was included in my first Body as Temple calendar. I also shot her for the cover of the catalog for another Pilates Conference the following year.
