Yoga’s physical practise, the asanas, lead to changes in our mental and emotional well-being. Asanas are the only one of yoga’s eight limbs (ashtha-anga) that is external. The other seven aspects of yoga are internal, dealing with intentions, meditation, and spiritual growth.
