Plushie Progress!!

Hii! Here's a lil progress update for you on the plush coin pouches (yes I'm still working on them!)

It's been a slow process and making these look cute has been just as hard as I thought they would be :') Translating a design from a flat 2d image into a cute plush is challenging. There are considerations like where the sew lines need to be, or how the details are applied, making the whole process very new to me.

You can see this with the stripes on the cat, which first started as heat transfer stripes. But I didn't quite like the way it looked, so I swapped to embroidery stripes which I think make the quality a bit nicer :3

I'm working on 2 designs now - the guinea pig and the cat. We're going into my "last round of revisions" before I have to start paying for more changes.... so fingers crossed we can get it right on the last round!

I'll admit - I'm a bit on the fence about these. I've been working closely with my supplier and we've been working on this for a few months now, but I'm worried that I'm investing in something people won't want/use even tho I think there's potential. With all this effort, should I have just made a plushie instead? But I love the idea of having a usable plush you can carry around with you who can hold your trinkets, money, ear pods and more!!

I'll keep you updated. I hope the last version just makes me love it lol.
