Happy midsummer everyone! I've spent the weekend enjoying the surprisingly good weather and also sketching out ideas for the autumn collection. Designing Christmas in June has become a normal thing now lol

Something I've been considering for some time now is making desk mats. But personally after having used a desk mat for almost a year, I've finally come to a conclusion that they actually aren't for me.

As someone who doodles and writes on loose papers, paints and spills coffee - a soft surface on my entire desk just hasn't worked for me. I always needed to remove it whenever I wanted to use my desk for more than just typing while using the computer.

The thing that I do love about desk mats though is how cute it made my workspace and I do miss that. Surely I can't be the only one who wants a cute desk but not a full desk mat, right?

So the solution? Maybe a cute mouse pad could work instead! Cute, useful and also easy to move when you need more space.

So here are some of the sketches I came up with! I really love the cats cause then it looks like it's playing with the mouse 😆

I have a poll going on over at Instagram right now, and to my surprise the Pigeon, Chicken and Calico cat are the top winners. I really want to do the angy guinea pig, but I'm not sure I can enough of them :(

Maybe I should consider doing pre-orders for these? But I'm always hesitant to do that for new products cause you never know what issues may arise. What do you think?
