Holiday Update

Hey all!

I figured it was time to give you an update! It's almost the end of the year and I want to both look back for a bit and also see what's in store.

First and foremost, let me thank you all for the overwhelming and continuing support! I never imagined specifically Moira to be enjoyed by anyone other than myself and the excitement you show gives me so much motivation to keep doing what I do. It's always been a huge dream of mine to make comics and without you guys, I would have never even finished my first short!

When the reception to that initial story was so positive, I wanted to explore more characters and scenarios with similar themes. Now that we're in the middle of the third story with new characters, I know that I love coming up with new ideas but I also really want to go back to previous characters and explore them more. While I'm really enjoying our current story, I can't wait to come back to Moira's narrative and see where she'll bring us!

Over the past few weeks, I've been working very hard on my comic pages and I'm so glad to see the responses! I try to reach out here and there to get a sense of what folks like to see since I'm generally insecure about my stories being 'good enough', so your feedback (on Patreon, Twitter, via DM, or on our lovely little discord server) means a ton to me.

Uploading them weekly has been a great experiment! It's taught me a lot and I now have a much clearer view of what does and doesn't work in terms of my scheduling. While I'm able to upload a new page every week, it comes at the cost of pretty much not being able to make any additional artwork (Patreon commissions, collaborations, our character poll, etc). Doing both is hard!

Because of this, I've decided to take some time off from comic pages in order to get secondary artwork done so that I can clear my schedule up for more comic work. Not to worry- we'll be back to Liz, Emily and Luralys before you know it! And of course, we'll have some hot new pieces in the meantime.

Finally, I hope you'll enjoy the last few days of 2021! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or feedback and I'll be happy to chat. Until next time!
