Having received my RTX 5090, I wanted to test the limits of the card with the latest version of RTGI from Marty's aka Pascal Gilcher and I can tell you that the result is not too bad. Certainly when driving at more than 200km/h, we notice the effect less but it is there.
Ray Traced Global Illumination (RTGI), basically it adds light effects that bounce when impacted by a surface, plus it adds shadow effects to objects and gives an appearance of depth to a scene and more.
The comparison photos you see were captured with version 1.4.2.1 of Vision Reality. A new version is currently in progress. I'm currently adjusting the RTGI with Reshade, which I'll release very soon. The new version of Vision Reality will follow closely.
My goal is to release Vision Reality without Reshade, with results quite similar to those with Reshade. In any case, you'll also have my Reshade preset for those who want it.
For people who want to try it, I'll give you the link to Marty's RTGI but be careful, it requires a lot of resources.
Now let's look at what I'm talking about concretely .

Honestly, looking at the photos, you can see the difference directly, but when you play, this difference is less visible but is present thanks to a more realistic rendering of the lighting. I will release a video towards the end of next week showing the difference as well as the Reshade preset.
In the meantime, take care.
Thanks you
