I need your opinion to finalize the dazzling effect when facing the sun. The effect occurs around the middle of the video and a little towards the end so be careful, the brightness can be strong, for sensitive people be careful.
Added 2025-01-26 14:32:26 +0000 UTCHi,
Vision Reality 1.4.2 is about to be completed and I would like your opinion on the glare effect when facing the sun. I prefer to ask you because I think there are people who are sensitive to strong light.
The effect occurs around the middle of the video and a little towards the end.
Do not hesitate to share your positive or negative opinions.
Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm fine, thanks. To get the glare effect like in the video, you need to open "Pure Config" -> "Shaders" tab -> "Sunblinding" and set the values as in my screenshot. For the rain effect, you need to disable "New smoke and dusk" in "Particles FX" of the CSP settings, then in-game, open "Weather FX Debug" -> "Rain Debug" and check "Rain debug," "Override puddle amount," "Override thickness," then set the same values as in my screenshot. https://imgur.com/6NHqMcK

2025-02-18 21:28:12 +0000 UTCI use the default one that I customized
MCG
2025-02-18 21:23:26 +0000 UTCyes I understand that, my question was not about Pure PP but about Pure Config. There are presets (in .ini) that you can import that are made bny other people or you can leave it on the default one : pure_config.ini. I was asking you what preset .ini do you use.
puremasri
2025-02-18 18:37:40 +0000 UTCno, it's not Pure's ppfilter. The ppfilter is called AC Vision Reality. To have this rendering you must choose AC Vision Reality 1.4.2 which I will publish at the end of the week
MCG
2025-02-18 16:38:03 +0000 UTCNope, it's for Pure Gamma
MCG

puremasri
2025-02-17 23:41:32 +0000 UTCThe Pure preset is similar to 1.4.1. I recommend Pure 2.38 and CPS 0.2.7 p1. Version 1.4.2 Pure preset will be included

2025-02-09 01:02:43 +0000 UTCyes, it's possible there is a slider that you can modify to change the color. In fact it all depends on the position of the sun. The closer it is to evening, the more orange the color of the sun becomes. On the contrary, the higher the sun is, the lighter its color. But you can adjust it as you prefer
MCG
2025-02-09 00:54:33 +0000 UTCI think the color is too white when facing the sun. Could change hue to make it more yellow/orange and make the light closer the color of the sun?

2025-02-08 14:13:05 +0000 UTCUnfortunately there will be a little delay because I wanted to finalize it and make a video with the RTX 5090 but I was unable to obtain one. I'm leaving myself another week because it's possible that I can have one early next week

2025-02-03 22:01:37 +0000 UTCNo problem. In CSP settings -> Graphics Adjustments check that "AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution" is unchecked. You can enable “Temporal Anti Aliasing” in “ExtraFX”. Then in the "Video" settings of Assetto Corsa check that you are in 1440p and set "Anti-Aliasing" to 4x normally it should be good
MCG
2025-02-03 21:26:58 +0000 UTCI meant cars not cats, sorry. Will try making those adjustments you suggest. Anything I might be doing wrong in terms of getting the cars to look sharper (less “out of focus”)?I feel I am looking at 720p, on my 1440 monitor. Thanks again for your patience with my newbie questions !!
AJ
2025-02-03 19:37:10 +0000 UTC1.4.1 works with Pure 2.38 without VR but I haven't tested it in VR. Have you checked if the exposure is 100%?
MCG
2025-02-03 18:57:16 +0000 UTCyou can adjust them by opening "Pure Config" -> "Clouds" tab and at the bottom "you should have "clouds2D_brightness" and "clouds2D_contrast"
MCG
2025-02-03 18:51:08 +0000 UTCwhat do you mean by "cats"? If you find the colors too dull you can increase them in "Pure PP" -> pp_saturation or pp_luma_saturation. I also advise you to try pp_color_temperature
MCG
2025-02-03 18:45:19 +0000 UTCYes. BTW I think I got it to work, but the colors are very subdued and the cats look blurry even when stopped. Am I missing a key setting here? I have the 45” LG OLED monitor , which does give amazing colors.
AJ
2025-02-03 16:57:12 +0000 UTChey man .... just bought your pp filter and it looks awesome but how can I make the clouds looks more visible ? thanks

2025-02-03 11:41:37 +0000 UTCI went through my settings again though and I am using pure 2.38 which may be why!
Nick
2025-02-03 06:26:19 +0000 UTCI have tried it. It looks great but I did have to turn down the sun brightness on the road as well as the cloud brightness, I also turned off groundfog. LA Canyons would be blinding. These were way too bright for my AC, even on monitor
Nick
2025-02-03 03:45:49 +0000 UTCThis is correct for me. Can you post an image please?
MCG
2025-02-02 12:23:17 +0000 UTCYes. Pure gamma v 2.38. And the light value in yellow is what you said

AJ
2025-02-02 11:32:25 +0000 UTCCSP version 2.6. Pure Version 2.38.
AJ
2025-02-02 11:28:15 +0000 UTChave you tried version 1.4.1? Unfortunately I don't have a VR to test
MCG
2025-02-02 11:23:00 +0000 UTChave you installed CSP and Pure if yes what are their versions? Open Pure Config and go to the "Light" tab if my settings were loaded correctly you should see "0.750 or 0 725" in yellow in the first line.
MCG
2025-02-02 11:21:01 +0000 UTCQuestion: I followed your advice on your YouTube video, and got the 1.4.1 which does not require reshader, and I uploaded your settings. However, I see nothing even close to what you show in your videos (no realism at all) Just looks like the stock Corsa graphics. What am I doing wrong here?

2025-01-26 15:59:50 +0000 UTCI think on my phone it looks great. If you just acknowledge it and let people who don't know, know how to lower the sun glare in the planner or make 2 different versions with a slight adjustment and we can choose. This way you can almost make everyone happy. But I like it as is. It's only gonna be relavant in that scenario. If it was a different Time in the game the effect could be much less.
