Twice now a Marilith has attacked the campus, and Query was there and potentially targeted for both of those attacked. The dean has questions for Query, some answers, and a request. First, Query needs to pass a slight test, and try to maintain control her temper while the most powerful woman on campus plays mind games with the freshman Devil.
Afterwards, Query and Luster try to debrief not only the attack, but their relationship now that they can catch their breath and find some privacy. From their first encounter, to the poems, the burning sensation when they touch, and the strange flip in behavior in Query's dorm room days before, Luster has a lot of explaining to do.
