Sexy Quest - Beta 0.1 First Look || Class Change & Release Window

Hey everyone!

Today's update, I want to talk about a few things starting with my plans for the next update of Sexy Quest as well as when you can expect to play it!

== Beta 0.1 ==

Sexy Quest will be divided into chapters.  The first update in the Beta phase of development is going to put further polish on the Prologue chapter (The Alpha build) while also beginning or possibly finishing all of Chapter 1!

Chapter 1 will introduce Farona, the lovely high elf that you see pictured above.

Each chapter will likely vary in length and while I'd love to guarantee each update adds one full chapter, that most likely wont always be the case.

== Class Change System & Save Files ==

With Beta 0.1, I'm going to add the ability to have class changes for characters.  I don't know for sure if the feature will actually be available in Chapter 1 (I may introduce it later if it winds up feeling a little more natural).  But the actual capabilities of the system will be added.

This comes with some mildly unfortunate news, however.  Saves from the Alpha build are NOT compatible with the first Beta update.  

Normally, save files should be compatible with future updates so I don't plan on this being an issue moving forward but sometimes adding these features can cause incompatibility issues with pre-existing saves which is the case here.

I will try and foresee any other major systems/plugins that I want to add immediately so future updates aren't affected.

The class change system is something I think players who want to experiment & try out different combinations will really enjoy! 

Ex: Farona will start off as a supportive cleric.  But she'll have the ability to switch to a wind based archer class that focuses a little more on offence.  Or maybe a more offensive light mage as an option?  There are a lot of fun possibilities that each character will have and I hope some synergy between compositions will start to form as this system grows.

== Release Date/Window ==

If you're new to any of my games, I like to provide a release 'window' as to when you can expect the next build to release.

Sexy Quest, is still a bit too early in development to really know that.  Both the art, and the development of the game take a little longer than other titles so I could see the typical release dates being ~3 months apart.  But I might be overestimating and the usual ~2 month release windows may be doable!

As usual, I will let you all know as soon as I have a better idea of a release timing, myself.  I should start having a better idea in a couple of weeks!
