TPS Demo Preview Download
Added 2018-07-03 19:22:42 +0000 UTCDear Patrons, again huge thanks for your continued support! Here is a small gift for you. While we figure out how to upload properly to Git the new upcoming 3D TPS demo, you can download and test it, as well as the project itself. Please don't distribute it publicly!
Some known issues:
*use RMB to aim, LMB to shoot while aiming, WASD and mouse to move
* Character control is not polished at all and may get stuck easily or jump. This is easy to fix and will be done soon. Priority was testing graphics and animation for this demo.
* If you don't use Windows or don't want to use the provided binary, you can always compile Godot HEAD yourself and the demo will run fine.
* Tested on some different hardware and performance seems more or less OK. Will hopefully improve on Vulkan. You have a display settings menu to tweak rendering options and see what works better.
* It is a bit big for what it is, so hopefully export compression options will be improved in Godot 3.1
