Next Goal: Hiring Rémi Verschelde as full-time Project Manager and Representative

You can see here how crazy Godot contributions started to grow the past month once I could spend more time on developing Godot and helping other contributors:
Now that we are approaching the next funding goal, and after a lot of discussion, we (Godot PLC and Many core contributors) decided that the best way forward would be to officialize and hire Rémi (Akien) as full time project manager and representative.
His work as project manager has been simply fantastic rolling all our releases, coordinating hundreds of contributors, coordinating the triage, documentation, translation and website teams, organizing events in Europe, and merging more than 3256 pull requests. He also reorganized all our code and build system to make it as tidy as possible :)
With more time at his disposal to work on the project, the goal is for Rémi to work as project representative. This is a vital task for the future of the project and, at the time, even more prioritary than hiring other developers.

2018-01-18 17:25:28 +0000 UTCYes, that's it. The last thing I recall reading was "in our case, for the sake of transparency, all our funds go to our fiscal sponsor (Software Freedom Conservancy). This makes it more troublesome because, as a charity, they have to evaluate compliance with all the relevant laws in the United States so it may take some weeks.", so I was just asking if there was any progress to share on this :) There is still an unclaimed pledge for godot at <a href="https://liberapay.com/on/github/godotengine" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://liberapay.com/on/github/godotengine</a>
