December Poll Results!

Happy new year everyone! 2018 wil be a fantastic year for Godot development!

Again thanks from the bottom of our heart to our patrons, who are helping us spend more time developing Godot and making it better and better.

Following are the results of December voting:

Tutorial:

* Blender to Godot level design pipeline, with 17.14% of votes.

Demo:

* Softbodies (including clothes), with 12.86% of votes. This feature is currently in progress, but will be merged after 3.0 is out.

Feature (seems we got a tie, will try to do both):

* Occlusion Culling and Portals/Rooms: 20.00% of votes.
* GI for large terrains / open world: 20.00% of votes.

At our current rate, 3.0 will definitely be out this month (January), as the number of serious issues is very low. Afterwards, everything voted up to now will be in main priority for 3.1.

People's Choice

Following is the people's choice results. There is no direct compromise to work on these, but they help our developer community, documenters and tutorial writers understand better where to focus the effort.
