Truthfully, I'm curious about what his dossier says about him, and yeah his shape-shifting.

Depending on how much they expect about his class they may be able to guess about Shape of the Master (not Embers as easily)... because that's a standard Animist form even if his may be non-standard. But, while determining he was an Animist is totally possible... learning he became a Primal Lord, or that Emerald Archon is a continuation of that type isn't so easy. So until he reveals his combat forms they won't easily learn them.

So far he didn't show any of his forms in the Arena. People know abut his World Serpent form. But that is his travel form. And now his Water form. At least the people who noticed his slip up. But that is also not very useful in a normal arena duel Question is now how many people know about his master and stealth forms. Master is his one on one duel form. I want an outside PoV of him using the self ignition ability.

All "forms evolutions" are now relatively recent, I wonder which spell will evolve next time, or if he'll get a new one.

Even without that, the dossier on him gives a it's supposed to give them an impression of his abilities, and you can't really describe Elijah without mentioning that he can shape shift. It's like most of his power set.

She’s teaching him about spells and it seems to be showing it’s worth as evidenced by him shaping a spell in this very chapter. That’s her official role with regard to Elijah, beyond that she’s just his busy bodied auntie who occasionally tries to smack her version of wisdom into a wayward youth.

tura continues my view of her as a terrible teacher, of course that assumes that her role. If her role is more of permissive but annoyed babysitter, then she is nailing it. And that might be what she is doing if she thinks of elijah as a rambunctious middle schooler, with a youth event he needs to show up on time to compete in, then it all fits really well actually. But Punishing him for stuff he did not know was off limits, is definitely not a teacher or even mentor move. . Right after encouraging him to experiment with his abilities. It still fits with the idea that elijah does not care much about the tournament. hell it fits with kirlissa and tura also not caring very much about it. I kind of expected for someone around hem to consider it a big deal, so i guess my expectations have been subverted. Or with the idea that they all expect elijah to just outclass everyone but that would not contradict the other stuff.
