Not giving into her alignment and trying to understand it more and deeper. Not succumbing to her Angel core and letting it transform her into who she is. Not losing hope even after 30 years went by. And a bunch of different minor stuff as well. She had Elijah as an example, she had an entire world going through a transformation as an example, she had so many different choices and different decisions, but every choice she made every path she took solidified the eventual end of the separation between the two of them. She chose her, Elijah has chosen himself.

Even if she doesn’t realise it that is a pretty powerful reality check for someone in a position of power and surrounded by sycophants. Having the people she has to negotiate with at similar lvls to her or with large numbers backing them , knowing Elijah has her back would help her for sure too but personally I’d think the reality check would be more valuable

2026-02-09 17:39:27 +0000 UTCI’m sad that Elijah is leaving Earth but after traversing the abyss, he needs more challenges. The Lux proves that humans will repeat past issues again and again. He needs a new perspective a new playing field. Elijah is a big fish in a small bowl. He needs challenges dare I say rivals. Also now we can see politics on a new stage. Elijah has to learn some manners maybe some humility.

I don't think she has anyone to truly confide in. She is the last of her family and friends. So she seems 'lonely' to my eyes. Yet instead of getting closer to the only person she could truly hold and confide in, she pushed him away on some nonsensical 'emotional brain overload' reason.

2026-02-09 17:11:37 +0000 UTCFor Elijah, Earth is not his home. The home of his friends and family, yes, but not his. They never appreciated his efforts, the guilds refusing his entry to the Hall of Riddles is more than telling. Asking him to stay on Earth comes only from a political, WMD perspective, not him as an individual. If Alyssa had survived, everything would be completely different, but without his last blood relative, his departure was all but written since book 4. Such is the loneliness that comes from the top. Glad that they both didn't try to hold onto a relationship that already withered and would only be fake and painful. Still, Sadie clearly need more friends to truly open with. Or a psychologist.
