Today is the first Friday of the last month of the year. I hope this past year has been good for you, or at the very least, that you have plans for this month to rest from all the exhaustion accumulated through the year.
This new game update brings the next section of the story and a new erotic scene, which is also one of the first-experience intercourse scenes that I have planned for Eilayda.
I’m going to be honest; I have mixed feelings about adding this erotic scene.
I won’t go into details so that I won’t spoil it, but it lacks the same style from previous scenes. This doesn’t mean I don’t like it; it’s just too different from what I had in mind Eilayda’s first intercourse scene would be.
If you are wondering: “Then, why did you add this scene first instead of one of the other first-experience scenes?” the answer is: because of the story. During Eilayda’s search for the magical object inside the brothel, you can encounter this scene if you make a mistake during a short event. It is a punishment scene, basically, similar to the one you can get after sleeping outside.
As I said, I’ll not go into details to allow you to discover the scene yourself, so if you want to know more, go into the brothel, progress the event there, and select the wrong choice in the small event that plays during this story sequence to see the scene.
Now, about the brothel itself. You can see a lot of different dialogues here. When I created this place, I wanted the conversations for its “first-time visit”, “asking about the job” and the “barrier object search for the story”, to play according to how deep into corruption you are. This means that the dialogues during these conversations will change depending on whether you engage them with lewd level 0 or level 2, for example.
This will also affect how the new erotic scene added to this build plays out, but that will occur once we reach lewd level 3.
The purpose of adding different dialogues according to your corruption level is to make the brothel feel dynamic so that you can have a different experience when you visit it during a corruption route compared to a pure route or just a slightly erotic one.

Thank you 😊 Yeah, that is something I have also found disappointing in games. I always planned to have at least one section of the story display how Eilayda's corruption has progressed, and the brothel seems the right place to do so. It may not be a lengthy section, but it does its job of helping shorten the distance between the narrative and what you have done through the game.

2024-12-10 02:46:19 +0000 UTCYes. As an erotic scene, I like it. I don’t necessarily perceive it as bad only because it is different, and I know many players will enjoy it due to the scene's content. My mixed feelings come more because this is the first intercourse experience, which I saw many players have been waiting for, so it feels a little odd that the scene breaks the corruption pace built from all the previous scenes. Well, this will only be temporary as I have plans to add more fist-time scenes that don’t break the pace.

This is a thing that I often find very disappointing playing corruption games, where the "corruption" does not change any interraction with the surrounding people and world, and at most only changes lewd-scenes, doesn't impact cut-in lewd scenes, or worse, only serve to get different lewd scenes further into the game while keeping the low level ones. I feel like a big staple of the great games of the corruption genre, are the change in experience of the world around as the corruption and lewdness progresses, and not only in self contained lewd scenes. Please keep up the good work, quality and quantity together naturally takes time ;)

2024-12-07 19:57:13 +0000 UTCAs a punishment scene it totally works I think and yes it’s different but it’s the point of the punishment part so I didn’t mind it but I do share the feeling that it feels less “canon” to her story and kept the save where I didn’t get punished (hard to talk about it without spoilers but I felt like saying something about it after having played it and seen your mixed feelings, to me it felt perfectly fine in the context of the game storyline)
