More Fixes

Hello everyone!

A new patch for the game is coming in a moment to fix some of the issues that were reported. Thank you again for all your assistance in making the game better.

The patch also brings a fog that will move during combat.

What do you think? The idea is that the fog helps the battlefield feel more alive.

Edit: It seems that the GIF showing the fog is not loading correctly, so I'll leave it in the attachments if you want to see it :)

maybe find a stick to help defend her self? but that said, don't think she would use any weapons, unless the story goes that way so its mostly things she could find or learn, so could be Kick or slap for close range, a stick for mid and a slingshot or something for ranged? just so it stays the same mechanics as the magic, so you still need to pick the correct one?

Another option would be maybe give her some weak physical attacks she can use to finish off low hp enemies or fight when she's out of mana. It could start whit just being a slap then when she get's new moves it could go up to a kick. Could even turn it into a mini-event where a bandit tries to mug her when she's low on mana in the early game and then she realizes that in her weaken state she can't really on her magic to solve everything anymore.

if it fits with the game your making and story then no problem, only trying to help, hope the next build is going well, take your time with it and cant wait to see were this story will go.

Those are some good ideas. Maybe I could change the event that triggers when you run out of mana so that Eilayda drinks mana from the cube but loses a turn. I'll think more about implementing this. Thank you for the feedback.

saw the new update and wondering if you could have a 'rest' function during combat or outside of combat, maybe give you temporary buff/debuff to allow you to use magic without any mana but maybe weakened or something so you can still fight even if your empty? at that, maybe have the rest function be the way to get mana from your cube as well? just a thought but might ruin the balance. Edit: allowing the player just to use the cube to store or take out mana would maybe be good as well. not sure how easy that is to code though.
