Slowing down.

It is not a secret I work slowly on my photos, but the latest shootings are slowing me even further due to the raise in quality coming from the 2 latest cameras.
The medium format 50MP files from the Fujifilm GFX, and the 40MP files from the Leica M10 Monochrom are putting under pressure my editing process as never before, even more than the Nikon D810 ever did with its 36MP, notwithstanding the increased computing power of the 2024 MacBook Pro or the constantly updated official subscription to Lightroom Classic.
The workflow is consolidated, but heavy files are slowing down the process considerably.
And yet, I need to work on the 2025 shootings to get familiar with the new cameras and models, before the next season, presumably starting on Spring.

Mind you, I'm not complaining, because the quality of these cameras is justifying every additional effort from me or my equipment, and every possible delay in my schedule!
And I hope also you are benefiting from this improved quality, by zooming in the pictures and checking the amount of details available.

I've nearly concluded the shooting with Maria in the Ex Manicomio di Monbello, and I've already concluded the shooting with Elfa in the very same location, because I love this place!
Not sure what shooting is coming next in the queue, but it is surely be among the last ones.

Today I will post 2 pictures of Elfa in this abandoned asylum corridor, one here (front view), and one on my regular social media feed (back view).

The quality of the pictures is stunning. A testament to your expertise (in photography and selecting models 😊)
