I read it all and it ended up becoming something of a comic book about British military life back then.

To accompany this news, I’ve chosen 3 photos of Martina from, arguably, our best shooting together, October 2018 in Brescia.
This sequence was shot with the Leica M240 and the Summicrom-M 50mm.
These photos are standing the test of time, and the newly acquired M10 Monochrom will have a tough time creating more iconic images…

I avoided my National Service in Italy by keeping only my British citizenship, so it has been a real concern also for me...

As a child in the UK, I was terrified of the prospect of National Service - I was enormously relieved when it was discontinued well before I reached that age. I look forward to reading about your brother's experience.
