Trying old lenses all over again

I should get back using this humble Nikon 85mm f2 AI-s lens, because it has great character!
You can see it in this picture of Martina, but also on the one I will post later today on my regular social media feed.
Not on the third photo on DA Subscriptions, that was shot with another lens, and it is about something else...
What really matters is this lens provided yet another romantic point of view on our beloved Martina.
Some people say that gear is not important, but it is not true.
Each lens and every camera can bring something different to the table, and make the photographer work in a different way.
I like to be inspired by specialistic cameras and lenses, just like I am inspired by everyone of my models in different directions.
I got so used to working with Martina, I just forgot about this magic chemistry we created shooting together in so many occasions; I never really worked long enough or created the same confidence with any other model to reproduce this same symbiosis.
Now that I've found a new favorite muse in Maria, I hope we will have the chance to shoot enough times with her to create the same magic, and maybe experiment with all the exceptional glass I have been using with Martina in the past years.
