I have finished editing my first ever shooting in the Ex Manicomio di Monbello, the one with Elfa, to familiarize with the place before going back in August with Maria and Barbora.
I may be slow on so many old works, but somehow I rush some of the latest because I find them especially interesting for various reasons.
Not only the I needed to check the potential of this location with my own eyes before going back with more stunning models, but I was also happy to give the priority to Elfa, one of my favorite models among the latest.
This frame was among the last sequence we shot on the day, in the same corridor where the huge red graffiti was placed.
The graffiti on this wall in the background look very well in contrast with the body of Elfa, and the light reflecting from the floor is giving a ghostly but appealing charm to the model.
I have many good photos from this sequence, but I wanted to show the first one to my Patrons first.
With enough light to play with, the Fujifilm GFX 50S II + "Martin" (the Zeiss T* 1,4/85mm Planar ZF named after the Patron that sponsored part of the purchase), is giving flawless results.
So I am happy about this location, about Elfa, and about my newest camera and lens combination.
In 2025 I have heavily bet on this location, and at least the first attempt went very well!
In 2025 I also bet on the Fujifilm ecosystem, investing in 2 new cameras from this brand, and those too are giving good results, especially the big one, and I might try again the X100VI with Maria on the mountain quarry... albeit it is hard to let go the GFX for a single second!
