Some models can transcend the rules of lightning, receive it from the wrong directions, and still look awesome.
Sophy is definitely one of these models, and this photo is a clear example of the concept.
In many occasion I don't have the luxury to dispose of the ideal lightning in a hotel room, not even when I bring additional sources with me from home, because most of the time I have to work fast and place them in odd positions, or not high enough, or reflecting from walls...
This is what makes my images more interesting, because the casual lightning is going well with the casual behavior of the models.
The photos are less textbook perfect or professional, and also less likely to have been generated by AI.
