Turns out there was a secret and extremely real alternate ending sequel to this Jucika strip where she's trying out watermelons and the vendor gets mad at her for trying too many:

Can't believe they actually made her eat and digest the vendor as well, crazy stuff to draw back in the 60s am I right?
Oh well, at least Jucika seems to have gotten herself 2 EXTRA large melons from this stunt of hers at the end of things.
