Fat me Mell
Added 2025-04-08 21:05:56 +0000 UTCA friend of mine has been obsessed with Wish me Mell, one of those very cute Sanrio characters from Japan akin to Hello Kitty and stuff, since she kept showing up over and over for no reason in his Twitter feed and he started to eventually really like her.
Of course, his obsession rubbed off on me, and I woke up one day really wanting to draw her, and I wanted to do my own spin at making a more human-like anthro design for her.
She's canonically chubby and is embarrassed of her big belly, so, of course, I drew up this design taking those qualities into heavy consideration, taking a few creative liberties with her bottom parts since I think it looks cool. Also gave her a little cute yellow polka dot dress based on one of the outfits I saw her wearing on the images part of her wiki page.
