April Patron Update
Added 2024-04-01 17:16:46 +0000 UTCHey folks!
Production on the Fallout 4 video is in full swing. I'm targeting a release by the end of the month. Consequently, I'm not planning on doing any work on the DCOM review series until this thing hits the main feed. I'd like to give patrons a preview of the intro once it's done, though. And I'll post the link to Patreon the night before it goes live. As it stands, the video rough cut is a little over 35 minutes, which makes it my longest video edited in this style. Since the Mass Effect: Andromeda video, I've committed to not dividing these into parts, otherwise this would easily be 2 videos. So I hope you'll forgive it taking a little longer considering it's twice the amount of work of my previous videos.
Of all my videos, this has been the hardest to write, not because I don't have anything to say, but because I have so much to say I kept falling into unhinged rants. There's about 3 pages of ranting about the Institute I decided to cut. You can see on my timeline below, everything between the rightmost green and cyan key markers is just me ranting about various aspects of the game. Fallout 4 is also just such a massive game I've had to restrict myself to only talking about the main quest and the Minutemen ending, which has been difficult.

Anyone familiar with Premiere Pro will of course notice just how fucked my timeline is. I refuse to use nests or sub-sequences.
My plan after this one releases is to use my last Peanuts video release to pad out my schedule and take some time to get another batch of DCOM reviews done, as well as start work on my next main channel video on The Outer Worlds. I'm anticipating that being a much shorter video, and therefore have a shorter production time. But I am very bad at estimating schedules, so we'll see.
