In other news, I learned to use ffmpeg. The noise filter I used for Treat.mp4 made the video blurry and it looked bad no matter how high I pushed the constant bitrate. But I did some testing today, experimented with CRF, presets, keyframe distance etc. and the result is a sharper video with a smaller bitrate. The difference is only noticeable under a microscope but it makes me happy to be optimal
I do NOT understand how to use ffmpeg yet (:3 back to Adobe Media Encoder for me

2025-11-20 21:46:22 +0000 UTCffmpeg can do it all. I got some custom commands for my Unmanic. If you ever need a resource such communities are probably a good spot. It usually does sensible defaults and beyond that is the ffmpeg abyss
