Sul Sul Patrons,

Each illness has their respective medication. You can only take the medication if you have been diagnosed with a specific illness.
You can get a diagnosis by call from a psychiatrist or by using cheats (shift + click on sim).

You can request a call from a psychiatrist and therapist from the phone or the sim's pie menu.

Receiving a call from a psychiatrist will give you an assessment, then you will be diagnosed once you complete the assessment. The assessment will be expanded upon throughout the beta testing based on your feedback.

Receiving a call from a therapist will take you through a conversation and once over, you will receive a short buff from being able to talk about things with your therapist. I plan to expand this feature based on feedback as well. All sims, diagnosed or not, are able to speak with a therapist and receive a happy buff. You do not need to be diagnosed to use this feature.
Receiving A Diagnosis
Depending on your diagnosis, your sim will receive a buff that lasts for an infinite amount of time. (you can remove this via cheats) Some diagnosis's will randomly give you buffs for short periods of time. All diagnoses will have an effect on your sims needs. For example, if you are diagnosed with Major Depression, sims energy will drain faster and the sim will require more sleep than usual.

Generalized Anxiety - Sims will receive a tense buff that is long lasting. Sims can experience anxiety/panic attacks. Taking anxiety meds will prevent anxiety attacks. You also have a chance to receive multiple effects from medication. For example, the medication may make you feel fine, or you may feel dazed. You will also experience a change in mood & needs.
Major Depression - Sims will receive a sad buff that is long lasting. Sim will cry, and do all the things sad sims normally do. Taking depression medication will give your sim a happy buff for a period of time. You will also experience a change in mood & needs.
ADHD - Sims will receive a bored buff that is long lasting. Sims will also have periods of hyper-focus and energy (by buffs). These occur randomly. Taking ADHD medication will alleviate these symptoms and will have an effect on your mood & needs.
BPD - Sims will receive numerous random buffs such as sadness, anger, anxiety, etc. Taking medication will alleviate symptoms.
PTSD - Sims will receive numerous random buffs such as anger, anxiety, sadness, etc. Sims are more prone to nightmares. Taking medication will alleviate symptoms

Your sim, diagnosed or not, will be able to talk to other sims about mental health. They will also be able to vent to other sims.

This is just a general overview of the mod in it's current state. I plan to update this frequently and I do request that you join my Discord server to report any bugs or suggestions that you have.
