Hello friends! I know its been a little while since you heard news from me so I wanted to update you. I have just under 3 weeks left in New Zealand, what a trip its been!
So I'm sharing with you my latest adventure in a place called Abel Tasman at the top of the south island in NZ. I spent a good amount of time on a boat travelling to each little bay along the coast, and then I left the boat and did a 4hour walk through forest, beach and mountains. The reason this day was so spectacular has a lot to do with the incredible views but nearly everything to do with the mood and mindset I chose to be in for that day...
I wanted to share that understanding with you because sometimes it doesn't matter how beautiful the place is that you are in, if you aren't happy you won't enjoy it at all. So, heres some tips if you are struggling in your daily lives to feel a sense of enjoyment sometimes:
Once you do this, instead of feeling like spending time alone is just a waste of time, you will feel a lot more clear minded after having this 'therapy' session with yourself.
I basically practised a walking meditation/visualtion whilst walking for those hours, instead of feeling lonely or tired during the walk, I felt energised,and then when I came across these views, I was truly in awe of the beauty that was all around me.
