BlueLine Dispatch v2.5 will release tomorrow!

I am wrapping things up for version 2.5 and a video demo will release soon.

Here is what to expect with version 2.5

I aimed to refine BlueLine Dispatch by establishing a consistent style centered around the female dispatcher voice, which was strongly favored by the community. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that many enjoy the occasional inclusion of a male dispatcher. I've carefully balanced these elements to create a more realistic and engaging dispatch experience.

Achieving this balance required significant effort, and I'm incredibly pleased with the result. While male dispatchers will be rare, their inclusion seamlessly enhances the overall listening experience.

Version 2.5 simplifies the download by combining all dispatch options into a single file. This streamlines development, allowing me to focus on refining the main mod and delivering updates more efficiently. The mod will now be simply labeled as BlueLine Dispatch v2.5

BlueLine Dispatch v2.5 Update Includes

• Callout Packs:

  • Added Deryll Callouts: 25 new high-quality callouts seamlessly integrated with BlueLine Dispatch. I customized a lot of the callout audio. Thank you Deryll for thinking about those that have the BlueLine Dispatch mod installed as it allows me to customize the audio even more. I wish more Callout Pack authors would add their own audio folders and customize the names of the wav files like you did. Bravo to you!

  • Updated 686Callouts: Includes a fun Area Surveillance callout, and Also has the exciting new "VIP Evacuation" callout with dynamic outcomes. I won't spoil it for you 🚁

    • Note: 686Callouts will soon feature AI audio speech when speaking with NPCs. This is from Charlie686, not myself. Nothing to really do with BlueLine Dispatch, I just thought it was a cool idea. Adds a significant improvement in realism. More info will be covered soon on the YouTube channel. If you want to see what it looks like then check out the early access info over here on the LSPDFR.com site.

  • Updated McCallouts: Added a few Callouts and Minor adjustments were added for improved compatibility with BlueLine Dispatch.

  • BLKHWY Callouts: Minor sound improvements, no new callouts just yet. Author states they plan to add more.

• Compatibility:

  • No Support for Certain Callout Packs:

    • No Support for Heavily Modified Callout Packs with Audio: Callout packs that heavily modify core audio files (such as Adam69, JM Callouts Remastered, and British Callouts) will not be added to BlueLine Dispatch.
      - I must ensure compatibility and respect the creative vision of other mod authors. Callout Packs such as Adam69, JM Callouts Remastered and British Callouts have modified their entire audio folder. I must respect their work and creativity. If you choose to install those Callout Packs (some are quite good actually) YOU WILL HEAR MIXED AUDIO with their Dispatcher and Mine.

• New Features:

  • NATO Phonetic Plates + Callsigns: Optional installation for those who prefer NATO phonetics. You will hear Phonetic Plates and have the ability to change your Callsign.

    • Install individually or together. - Also comes with an uninstaller.

  • ImmersiveAmbient Events BOLO Plate Support: Includes optional installation for compatibility for NATO Phonetics - Also comes with an uninstaller

  • Enhanced Unit Responses:

    • Brand new, several authentic audio recordings of police, fire, and EMS units responding to calls. All fresh as it was captured in the last week.

    • Improved unit responses during pursuits for increased realism.

  • Faster Plate Checks:

    • More realistic and efficient plate checks with quicker, concise responses.

Future Plans for BlueLine Dispatch: When new Callout Packs come out, I will add those into the BlueLine Dispatch - providing the authors have not created their own dispatch audio files. If the Callout authors have their own audio folder with custom wav file names - then yes I can personalize them and add them into future updates!
