387 - GAMES and WIPs.

MONDAY POST TIME! Thank you for showing up for another one of my world-famous Monday post, dear bro! Let's do this!

CULTURAL CONTENT. I continue to suffer through "Everything Or Nothing". Hating every second of it. So much rubberbanding in this game, the enemies respawn constantly in order to "create tension", a lot of backtracking of the same maps, a lot of corporate bullshit. There was one good moment though: in one of the levels the hostage had a surprisingly detailed underwear under her skirt instead of your usual black void. Honestly I think this could be the most detailed underwear in any western game ever. I am really curious if it was sneaked in into the game by the devs or was actually approved by the EA suits. Anyway, it really made my day to discover this detail, it felt nice to know that 20 years ago some highly cultured man spent his working hours on this detail. A true bro from the past.

NEW ITEM ADDED TO THE TREASURY. Last weak I have finally received another Luminous Arc artbook. So happy. I plan to treasure this little book forever. Oh, and I continue to play Luminous Arc 1, about 20 hours into the game so far. I would have probably beaten it already if not for all the James Bond games I have been playing recently XD

USING AI. I continue to draw all the character sprites and CGs by hand, not only because I prefer it that way but also because the stuff AI creates at this stage of it's development is still vastly inferior to actual human drawings. IMHO. But after messing around with it some more, I think can see myself using it to create reference materials based on my rough sketches, on occasion.

NO EXTRA!! This week's WIPs contain no naughty bits, so I decided to just dump them all here in the public post.

THE SHOP. Didn't upload anything new to the gallery (the shop) this week. Hopefully will have the time (and energy) to add something new by next Monday.

SKATER GIRL. Finished inking your future skater waifu. Still not 100% happy with her looks, but the general wibe is on point, and that's what is most important. Will be doing some slight improvements to her looks later, during the coloring.

DECISIONS, DECISIONS. The girl was wearing a baseball cap originally, then I decided to get rid of it, and then I decided to bring it back. Still not sure if will use it or now, it will depend on her final look when colored.

HOT PANTS. At the beginning of the story the skater girl will be wearing pants, switching them for a mini-skirt later. So I had to draw some pants for her as well.

CASEY JONES? Meet Joney Case or Jasey Cones, I have't decided on his name yet. This Casey Jones wannabe is a leader of a local roller gang. The skater girl is his sister and the only skater (and the only girl) in the gang.

THE REAL JASEY CONES. After I was done with the first sketch of this guy I suddenly realized that his general feel is all wrong. He was too muscular, too cool, too much of a main character wibe. So I had to rework him from scratch making him into a bit of less serious and less intimidating figure: perfect for the role I need him to play in the story. XD
