Like I already said in the previous post, over the weekend I will continue to test the game, so feel free to drop any typos or bugs you have discovered in the comments. There is also a dedicated Queen Trainer channel on my discord now, so you can use it as well.
Well, this is it bros. Three years of my life went into this thing. I hope it was worth it.
Now I will go make posts on my SubscribeStar and Boosty and if I have energy left after that I will try to launch a livestream on youtube...
It's finally over, I can't believe it. I think I could get a little emotional. Thank you for being with me on this journey. This game is our group achievement. Without you Queen Trainer would never exist, and now it will forever live on on the planes of the internet.

Myself, I agree with the Jasmine corruption part. I feel like there is an element or two lacking in how present Old Man in all this. I think it would feel more enjoyable if he was more proactive. For the rest, I think it just feels this way a bit at the moment. The core mechanics and the rest is not that hard to grasp. Myself I want MORE already xD. Played a decent 12 hours so far, exploring different elements and mechanics.

2024-12-09 10:24:37 +0000 UTCTrapHunter69, The sandbox elements, city exploration, and additional text-only events would feel completely different to me—and much more enjoyable—if the core gameplay/storyline were more satisfying. For me (and likely for some other gentlemen here), SC34 already represented a shift in the wrong direction. However, It still retained most of the beloved mechanics from PT/WT, so it continued to deliver a decent experience. Also, for me personally April's character was a major highlight. I’d sell my soul and my one year salary for a full April O’Neil trainer game from Akabur, built with the gameplay mechanics of PT/WT. That said, PT/WT remains superior to SC34 for me, and now we may see that latter was a transitional stage between the old Akabur style (PT/WT) and the new one (QT). Queen Trainer (QT) takes this new approach to the extreme and seems to have completely abandoned the roots of PT/WT. This shift is what saddens some of us who loved the earlier games. I also believe that some of the disappointment stems from expectations tied to the game’s title. It’s called “Queen Trainer,” not “Agrabah Harem” or something else entirely. The name evokes the spirit of the PT/WT lineage, but the game itself feels like a departure.

I don't mind more sandbox and branching even at the cost of shorter/simpler characters' arcs. Regarding having a single heroine - Star Channel 34 also had no center heroine and that was my favorite Akabur's game. And for UI - yeah, I wanted to see girls' and Genie's stats.

I also couldn't gain pumpkins, which locked me out of the harvest competition. I also found the bug that resets your money after taking the reward for stopping the hoodlums.

My Thoughts on the Game: Bugs in Early Versions: I’m completely fine with bugs in an early version—it’s expected at this stage of development. CGs and Chibi Focus: I’m generally okay with the number of CGs and the emphasis on chibi art, similar to WT. Sure, more CGs would be ideal, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Grinding: The grind is fine; I don’t mind it. However, it just doesn’t feel like a trainer game. Instead, it feels like one of those modern sequels, remakes, or reboots that amplify certain aspects of the original but lose what made the original special. While Akabur’s trademark humor and dialogue are here, the game misses the mark in several critical ways: Jasmine’s Character: Jasmine shows her breasts to the merchant, masturbates in front of Jafar, and happily lets herself be groped by a random crowd—all within the first five minutes of gameplay. What?! And then, her storyline restarts repeatedly, making her entire arc feel meaningless. It comes across like one of those generic, shallow “fuckfest” games often written by teenagers, rather than the nuanced storytelling I expected. Main Heroine Corruption: In a true trainer game, the main heroine starts as a strong character and gradually succumbs to corruption through meaningful progression. Here, Jasmine is already corrupted from the start. There’s no gradual descent, no meaningful character development, and no variety of outfits—elements that defined Akabur’s earlier works. While the humor is still here, the lack of a satisfying corruption arc kills the immersion. Too Many Routes and Endings: The game has too many routes and endings, requiring players to replay and repeat the same content over and over. This spread-out content means that each individual branch feels underdeveloped. A single, meaningful storyline with minor branching (like in WT) would be far more satisfying. Too Many Characters: There are too many girls, resulting in each of them having insufficient content. It feels like quantity was prioritized over quality. Even main girls are too much. But, faceless text only girls are completely unnecessary. City Exploration Content: Most of the city exploration content feels unnecessary and doesn’t add much to the experience. Side Activities: Festivals, contests, and gardening could be great additions, but only if the core game content were rich and substantial. Right now, these feel like distractions from what’s lacking in the main storyline. UI: No quest log, no girls and genie stats, large icons. UI sucks. What Made Akabur’s Games Special: While this is just my personal opinion, I (and others, as seen in some comments) believe that Akabur’s “golden formula” consists of: Humor: The humor is still here, which is great. Focus on One Main Heroine: A single, well-developed heroine allows for a deeper, more immersive story. Gradual Corruption: Watching a character change over time is a core element of the experience. One Storyline with Minor Branching: A streamlined story provides enough content, depth and immersion, comparing to multiple underdeveloped branches. Variety of Sprites and Outfits: These add depth and customization, which are sorely missed in the current iteration. Heroine stats: visible stats make game much more immersive and make grind meaningful and satisfactory.

I only had Vivi but was able to use it and now all of the other girls are perma recharging. *edit* There is also a bug with the goddess quest. She said she was never coming back and yet I didn't get the quest completion. I'm not sure if I'm missing part of her questline.

2024-12-08 04:24:29 +0000 UTCJust a heads up guys, if you want to resize the MASSIVE DIALOGUE TEXT (that sometimes clips on itself) in the game, go to the "game" folder. Create a new folder called "mods" Inside it create a .txt file named anything you want like "font.txt" and in the txt file put: init python: style.default.size = 32 (font size you want) Save the file, then change it from .txt extension to .rpy Run game and the text should be the size you set.

2024-12-08 02:07:08 +0000 UTCso i think ive encountered a bug or two that has not been reported, at least that ive seen. first, is that after buying the first birthday cake everytime i talk to the merchant and pick the option to buy a cake he begins his dialogue for a fraction of a second then the interaction is ended, so i cant buy more cakes. Secondly, at some point, i don't know when the garden minigame kind of broke, i would plant and grow a crop then when i went to harvest said crop i wouldnt actually get anything, it wouldnt show up in my garden inventory not would i be allowed to sell produce at the market stall. it eventually KIND of fixed itself, pumpkins still dont work, and the turnips show an innacurate stock in the garden inventory. anyway those are the bigger ones ive found personally.

WAAAY improved then the last queen trainer. The sounds, the effects, the funny story, the sex scenes, you guys out did your selfs. I can't wait for the gold edition to be able to buy birthday cakes, hold anniversaryes and to have you're way with all the girls. Having sex with the girls in the brothel is just a really bad experience - from the conversation to the art itself. I really wanted to see something similar from my past akabur's games experiences but a improved one.

2024-12-07 13:25:19 +0000 UTCAfter you finish the game at least once you can purchase a reset Royal Reset stone from Maslab to reset Jasmine's story. From this point on you can turn on hints. If you beat the game twice you can turn on an options that will tell you before hand what result which advice will have. For Jasmine to marry Genie her TRUST must be 20+ when she make the final decision. If you don't want to use hints you can just choose the least sexual suggestions and you should get that ending.

I saw that Balsam was selling some kind of "reset orb" the day before the wedding (he wasn't actually selling it yet though I think), but obviously the game is broken once she gets married so I'll be sure to check that out when the Monday update drops. Also, I can't seem to access achievements or girls' stats or anything. I saw in another comment you said something like that's all available on the second floor of the house? Is that the upgrade that Balsam sells for 500 gold? It seems odd to me that such a basic feature is hidden behind such an expensive upgrade (I'm sure late game 500 gold isn't that crazy, but when I'm 60 guard patrols in and making 15 gold from it on a good night that seems like a ton).

2024-12-07 10:33:59 +0000 UTCOf course. She has 3 stats: GUTS, LUST and TRUST. Depending on which one prevails you get one of the endings. And if none of them is high enough you get the default ending. After beating the game once you can recent Jasmine's progress with an item and unlock an option to see hints for which choice does what. Basically the first time you go in blind, but it get's easier to make choices the more you play. Also challenges have hints in description for witch stat you need to max out to get the desired ending ^^

2024-12-07 09:24:30 +0000 UTCI got the ending where Jasmine marries Aladdin, and then encountered a game-breaking bug that prevented me from continuing on from that point. I hadn't even married any of the girls yet. I gotta say, I'm not terribly enthused about Jasmine getting married without input from the player, and obviously I can't continue until the update comes out and fixes the bug. I'm enjoying the game up to that point although some of the more expensive purchases are a pain in the ass to obtain with how slow you earn gold. If I could make a suggestion, maybe allow the player to nix Jasmine's marriage? I'm looking forward to playing more once that's possible for me.

I am glad you enjoy the game :) There were a lot of bugs reported but at the same time this game has an extremely complex structure, people seem to not notice it much and that is a good things, means it's done well, but there are a lot of stuff going on in the game, weather, seasons, different events developing a bit differently depending on the weather or who you already married or what happened to Jasmine and whatnot. Anyway, I hope you had a good time. All the bugs will be patched ASAP, I promise :)

After Witch Trainer I received so much negative feedback that I decided to never touch that game ever again. I remember the lack of content was the number one complaint. During Star Channel development, after every episode it was like: and that's all? Shame. Where are the CGs? The thing is I have a small following of people who like my stuff and know what to expect from me. It's flattering to hear that you expect some grand things, but please stop. If anything expect lees from me in the future and you won't get disappointed with my next project.

I do hope for more content with her in (maybe) Gold Edition. So far I’m having an almost bug free experience, I made a txt file where I record all of the bugs I’ve encountered and I’ll be happy to send it to you if you want. Thank you again for this game Aka-bro, it really is something special. Also, it’s great to be a Slav so I understand all of the Black Dahr’s asterisk words. And I have to say, all of the weddings so far (I married Vivi, Meg and Lily) are so wholesome (and weird in a good sense!) I just can’t. Really, thank you for this gem, it is amazing
