Issue No. 8 with Harmony Jewel Johnson

This issue came together fast—and with ease. Harmony and I met at Shelly Beach, started shooting at the point, wandered down past the pool at Fairy Bower, then jumped in the car and chased the last of the light to Clontarf. The sun dropped quickly, but we kept shooting into dusk, finishing with a moody little after-dark set.

You might recognise Harmony from Love Island, but this was a totally different energy—casual, calm, and really fun to make. The weather was perfect, the water was warm, and Harmony carried the shoot with a natural ease that made the whole day light and flowing.

It’s not my favourite issue, but it’s strong—full of texture, soft light, and a quiet energy that sneaks up on you. We didn’t overthink it, and I think that’s part of what makes it work.

It’s 78 pages, a mix of 35mm film and digital, and I’m proud to have it live!
